宣導使用紫外線消毒(殺菌)燈時，應注意以下事項：

(一)使用前應詳細閱讀產品說明書，並依說明書要求使用產品。

(二)避免眼睛直視紫外線燈管或直接照射肌膚。

(三)如產品配備有紫外線防護眼鏡，使用前應檢查眼鏡是否完好，並正確佩戴。

(四)應在無人、無動/植物的情況下使用。開燈後迅速離開消毒區域，避免受到紫外線輻射；並設定定時功能，且應於定時關閉後才能進入消毒區域。

(五)對於手持型紫外線消毒燈(棒)，使用過程中不可對人體肌膚及眼睛部位照射。

(六)避免兒童、或無法理解正確使用方法的對象使用。

(七)勿作為捕蚊燈或一般照明燈使用。

(八)如紫外線消毒(殺菌)燈所用燈管是低壓汞燈(從外觀看燈管類似日光燈，但玻璃管是透明的)且未標示「無臭氧」，則消毒完成後通風至少30分鐘才可進入。
